Top Shot Casting Call and Tryouts 2012

The History Channel Top Shot is now casting for the 2012 and 2013 seasons of Top Shot. Top Shot is a unique reality competition. Top Shot brings marksmen together from around the country to compete on national TV for the title of Top Shot and the prize money that goes with that title. That prize is a huge $100,000!

During the competition, the contestants use a variety of weapons and firearms to hit their targets. Guns, Knives, Bows and arrows, slingshots and other devices been used on the show and the winner must be adaptable enough to hit a target with anything that he or she is handed.

The History Channel is NOW CASTING for the next season of its electrifying marksmanship competition show. Producers are looking for anyone with unrivaled shooting skills and a big personality to take on exciting physical challenges with multiple guns and mystery projectile weapons. If you are skilled with a pistol, rifle or any other firearm, you could win $100,000 on TOP SHOT.

The show is looking for people with serious skills. It does not matter if you are a professional or hobbyist. If you have a great personality, are extremely handy with a fire arm and have amazing aim, the producers want to hear from you.

Top Shot does require that anyone applying be in great physical shape, not have any mental conditions or other conditions that may prevent them from using a firearm. Also, for obvious reasons, producers will not consider you if you have assault or certain weapons convictions or pending cases.

If you have mastered a firearm and can adapt to new weapons and demanding physical situations, you could be America’s next Top Shot.

To apply for To Shot, please email your first and last name, where you live, contact info, a recent photo of yourself and a brief explanation of why you should be on Top Shot to: TopShotCasting@gmail.com

Those selected will get further instructions from the shows producers as well as more information about being on the show.

I have been involved in shootin from a very young age. Everything I do involves hunting or shooting! My main interest is in archery where I have done well even at a national level. But I am confident with any weapon you put in my hands! I have been both in front of and behind the camera while filming hunts. I am a father of 6 wonderful children. I work a full time job and own my own taxiderm business that I run on my days off. I am very confident in my skills as a marksman and it is my goal while shooting for the other competors to know that with in the first few shots that they don’t have a chance at beating me! I would love to have the chance to be on top shot! Hope to hear from you!!!

I taught myself how to shoot at home and decided to go to the nearest gun club when I was around 8 years old, I shot there for 7 years and started shooting for competition and I made it all the way to nationals at texas in 2009 i think. I am 18 years old and would be very greatful to have the oppertunity to be on top shot. hope to hear from you. thanks

I play a lot of shooter games but can hold my own with any weapon: 1911, 92FS, AR, AK, 1022, Glocks, HK,SKS, recurve bow, sling shot, and even played competition paintball. If it has a projectile I want to send it to its intended destination and smile and laugh while doing it. Others play golf or tennis on weekends, I’d rather smell burning gunpowder in the morning…

For all who asked for information on how to submit a request or video to be considered for Topshot, you are clearly unqualified and are disqualified since you failed to find the information right before you. Therefore its obvious none of you could find, let alone hit, a target. So Topshot won’t have to waste time sending you a decline letter since you made yourselves unworthy. And no, don’t apply next time either.

I am not military, I have never been an avid hunter but I would be proud and honored to compete with those who are. I know what I can do and I’d sooner just prove it than brag on it behind a keyboard. Good luck to all. Hope to see you on the show.

I had guns and archery equipment before I could buy a hunting license. I am 46 years old and I can shot the balls off a rhino at double what mister cat scratch fever can do. I become the woods when I am hunting, and no animal or human know I am there. I would be honored to be a member of the top shot program. Hope to hear from you. Thank you.

Well the last two seasons show that anyone can win season 3 a Christian camp leader and season 4 a IT computer tech. So respect is earned not just a big mouth. I remember season 3 the navy seal hahahah what a joke he quit. And I also respect the Armed Forces God Bless everyone of you thank you from my heart for protecting us and our Freedom!
