Auditions for Singers 2012 and 2013
“The Voice” is back for another season and this summer they are casting singers for the 2013 season of “The Voice”.
Are you a great singer that wants to make it to the big time? How about with some help from Coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera? Here is your chance.
“The Voice” Season 3 / 2013 Auditions begin in July for the show which will air on TV in January of 2013.
Unlike some of the other open tryouts for shows like “American Idol” where singers just show up in a massive cattle call, “The Voice” has a casting procedure that must be followed before you can actually attend the audition. Singers can not just show up at the venue. All singers need to create an account online and choose an audition city that they would like to attend. They will then be given their audition date and time (They can choose that from what is available) and an artist audition pass that will allow them to get into the venue on that day.
Tryouts for “The Voice” are open to people under 18, however, minors will need to have a parent present to participate.
Here is what you need to prepare for your audition:
Please prepare two (2) songs (can be from any artist or genre)
Only A CAPPELLA is allowed at the open call auditions
which means – NO background tracks -NO accompaniment – NO instruments of any kind
“The Voice” is a vocal competition and the only thing the judges will want to hear that day is your voice.
If you make the cut, you will be called back at which time you will need a few more songs and background music will be allowed. The call backs will not be A Cappella and you will be required to have some type of accompaniment.

I’ve auditioned twice and lost the 1st audition by a duet that didn’t make the show and the second audition I felt I won over the other 9 vocals in the room. No brag, just facts as Will Sonnet would say, an old western show. I’m an old dinosaur thought extinct but people are still looking for fossils. I’ve played saxophone with the Imperials after Little Anthony went solo,Clarence Cater, Cubba Gooding Sr. U.S.O.tours and a host of others. I can Sing. Please Reply. I have been practicing , and hoping to get on the show someday .
I have grown up listening to Blake Shelton , Christina, Carrie Underwood, Taylor swift, Rebecca Lynn Howard , Martina Mcbride , and other great singers. I hope to be on the show soon.
Meeting Blake Shelton and him being my coach is my dream. There is nothing I’ve ever wanted more than to learn from him. But I already have so much. I know I can sing and to be on the voice would be a dream come true. Blake shelton is my role model and I just wanna learn from him.

But man, there is so much talent here and even if i don’t make it. I would love from anyone in my town who has made it. The town is called Americus, Ga. I believe people can do anything they please. I have been told a number of times I should be a singer. I want to be an inspiration to little girls out there.
