Auditions for The Sing Off 2012 – The Sing Off is coming back to NBC this year in 2012 and NBC is looking for more hot talent to sing on the show. Do you have a great voice that sounds great without any musical accompaniment?
The Sing Off is only about your voice and the singing contest / competition is done A Cappella.
In The Sing Off, groups of 4 to 15 members sing and harmonize to wow the judges and the audience. The last season of the show held a nationwide casting call in the spring of 2011. We look forward to the open casting calls for the 2012 season of The Sing Off on NBC.
The winner of the singing competition will get $100,000!
Here are some of the rules to qualify to apply to be on The Sing Off:
- Groups must consist of four (4) to fifteen (15) members, made up of any combination of males and females.
- Must be 12 yrs or older. If under 18 yrs of age a Parent or Guardian is required at auditions.
- Please prepare up to three (3) vocal performances – each no longer than three (3) minutes. Groups might not perform all songs but should be prepared.
- Two (2) songs must be a recognizable pop or rock cover songs.
- Medleys are allowed but should be no longer than three (3) minutes.
- ALL musical styles are accepted.
- Choreography, creativity, and dress are encouraged to enhance your performance.
- No Instruments of any kind allowed.
NBC’s “The Sing-Off” is looking for the best-of-the-best a cappella groups to audition for the hit series. The Sing Off is looking for the most talented a cappella groups to compete for an opportunity to win $100,000 and a Sony Music recording contract.
