Plus Size Model Search and Auditions

The 2013 Plus Size Model Search is now casting plus size models to participate in an industry event in NYC.

The model casting call will be held on January 26th, 2013 in New York City.

This is a multi brand plus size event that will give aspiring plus sized models a chance to network with industry pros, magazines, designers and more.

The event will host auditions with plus size modeling agencies and other decision makers in the field.

Everyone will be looking for “The next Plus Size Super Model”!
If you are looking for a chance to show everyone what you’ve got, this may be your chance!

This event is for plus size models only but there is no height requirement. Brands including Ashley Stewart, Skorch and Full Blossom Magazine, MSA Models, Atlantic City Fashion Week and more, will be searching for new models that they can use and feature in upcoming projects.

This event is holding auditions for curvy models of all ethnicities, shapes and sizes. Come audition for the companies that you know and love! The brands that fit you and your lifestyle!

This will be held on 1 /26/ 2013 at the Chelsea Studios in New York, NY.

Chelsea studios is located at 151 W. 26th Street.

All models must be a size 6 or larger.
Please be sure that you bring at least 25 comp cards that you can give away to the casting event.
Please bring a resume and business card if you have those as well.

Check-in: 2:45pm
Plus Model Casting: 3:00pm-6:00pm
Model and Talent Q A: 5:30pm-6:15pm
Cocktail Hour & Networking: 6:15pm-7:00pm

There will also be other things going on for aspiring plus size models. There will be seminars that models can attend hosted by industry pros. There will be makeup artists doing make-up tutorials and many vendors selling items as well.

There will also be lots of events and networking opportunities scheduled for everyone. Celebrities will be there and there will be QA sessions with respected names in the fashion industry. The event will finish off with cocktails and a networking opportunity for everyone who attended.

Please note that you must be 18 or older to participate and the event will not allow any children in.

Also, please note that  the plus size model casting 2013 event is not free to attend. There will be a ticket charge for models that would like to participate.  Early Bird tickets are $25.00. The event is sponsored by the NYC Plus Size Model Network.
