Nickelodeon Open Casting call 2013!
Nickelodeon is casting kids for a new show. Nickelodeon has announced an open casting call for funny kids that are 9 to 15 years old and that would love to join the cast of a Nick series.
The casting event will be held in Miami Florida during the American black film festival.
So if you have always dreamed of being on Nick, here is your chance. The Nick casting call will be held on June 22nd 2013 at the Ritz Carlton in Miami Beach Florida. Casting directors will be on hand to audition boys and girls for possible work. This event is open to kids of all ethnicities that are ages 9 to 15. All kids need to come with a parent or legal guardian in order to participate in the auditions.
The address is 1 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach, Florida 33139. It will be held in the courtyard on the 2nd. Floor.
You need to register in order to audition. you can register here.
This is a comedy talent search and kids will be given a short script to read. This event will likely have a large crowd so be prepared to wait in line. Please only register if you are in the Miami area or plan to be in the Miami area on June 22nd. The auditions are by appointment only and kids must have their parent get an audition slot.
Once you have your audition time, you will be required to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled time. The actual audition will only be a couple minutes long and casting directors will have sides for boys and girls.
If you are attending the Nick tryouts, please be sure to bring a headshot and a resume that you can leave with casting directors.
While you’re there you can also check out the film festival which has many great events planned from morning to night.

I’m 12 turning 13 on october 4th, I’m 5’1 tall.
I live in San Diego California and I’m Cambodian, Chinese, and Vietnamese.
I attend a Creative Preforming Arts Magnet middle school so it taught me a lot of things.
I’ve took dance for one and a half years in school, I took Video Production for a year, I also took tap, ballet and jazz for one and a half years.
Also I took a year of beginning choir but for 8th grade they moved me into mixed/advanced choir which is pretty exciting. I always had a passion for singing ever since I was able to talk.
Lastly, I took theater for a year. I absolutely loved it, it has taught me so much. I wish I could of continued theater but I had to choose between having choir or theater. Although I don’t have it anymore, I’m keeping a lot of what I learned from my amazing teacher, she’s taught me so much about acting, stagecraft, and so much more.
I got a ukulele two years almost 3 years ago so I know how to play, but I’m hoping learn a little bit of piano in Choir next year. I also might be getting a guitar so if you ever need someone in a show that knows how to play interments you could always email me.
