Nick and Nick Jr. Auditions

Nick Jr. Auditions for 2014 and other tryouts for the Nick family of TV channels.

Nick and Nick Jr. always have new shows in the works and the way to get on those shows is to go to an audition. If you want to be a Nick Channel star, you will need to audition first and land that acting job by impressing the casting directors. In 2014 Nick Jr. has a pretty large lineup and the network has been adding new shows for the past few years.

Nick Jr. is part of the MTV network of sites and used to be called Noggin when the cable TV channel first started. In September 2009 Noggin became Nick Jr. and joins the network of channels that are part of the Nickelodeon network of children’s programming. Other channels are Nickelodeon and TeenNick.

Nick Jr. caters to younger children and hosts many preschool oriented shows. For these shows, Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. will hire young actors. To get on a Nick Jr. show, young actors will normally need to have an agent and then be sent to Nick Jr. auditions by that agent.
