A top New York modeling agency is having a 2013 / 2014 model search and contest. Are you America’s Next Top Model…. or Super Model. Here’s your chance to find out!
New York Model Management, a leading modeling agency in New York City is holding its 2013 / 2014 Fashion model search and model contest to find fresh faces that may be the next supermodel.
New York Model Management is a top modeling agency that books models for high end designers, fashion shows, print work and more. The agency is based in New York City and started by Heinz Holba who also started L.A. Models in 1985.
Marion Smith, the current vice president of New York Models, worked under Eileen Ford with world famous modeling agency Ford Models, Smith joined Holba in 2001.
Their models have graced the covers of Vogue, GQ, and many others. Their fashion models have also walked the runways for Channel, Givenchy, H&M, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Lagerfeld, Diesel and countless others. Their models are in all the top fashion shows worldwide.
The 2013 – 2014 model search began last week and will continue until September 2nd.
This is a nationwide modeling contest for girls 13 to 24 years old. The top 3 winners of this modeling contest will get a trip to NYC and while in New York they will meet with modeling agents for a possible contract as well as do a photo shoot with a top model photographer.
This modeling opportunity does have some requirements:
- You must be at least 13 years of age and younger than 24.
- You must be a U.S citizen.
- You must have never been convicted of a crime.
- You must be at least 5’8″
- You must be in great health.
- If you are a minor, you must have parental consent.
When you are sending in photos to the agency, which you can do outside of this contest, they would like you to…
- Not pose or smile in the photo.
- Have your hair pulled back so they can see your features.
- Wear a swimsuit in the photo.
- Have minimal makeup on.
- Be as natural as possible.

You have until September 2nd to enter the contest and you can do so here. If you are not entering the contest and you fit the above requirements you can still apply to be a model with the agency by sending in your photos directly to the agency in New York City.

I am 14 years old, turning 15 in September. I have light brown/blonde hair, I’m active and I like the outdoors, I’m a decent weight, thin but not too thin, I have long legs and admire art.
Some one should really discover me because I have faith, work hard, just trying to shine to see what I can be!
I’m 10 but im going to be 11 and my dream is to act, sing, or do cartoon voices in a cartoon show. My hair color is Dark Brown with redish orange highlights and I weigh 124 pounds. I hope you have something that I can use my talents in. Thanks for the usefull time.

I really want to be a model and have been looking forever on how to start or how to become a model. This modeling contest is really cool because I can try to be discovered that way.
I just want someone to notice and give me just one chance to prove what I can do. I hope I have what the modeling agency is looking for. I think I do because I am really tall, very thin and most people say I am beautiful. I have always wanted to model, as far back as I can remember. Even held mini fashion shows at home for my family.
Anyway, I really hope I get this thing and really hope that I become a fashion model.
