Captain America is coming back with a sequel! The film is scheduled for a 2014 release and casting for the film will begin shortly.
The new movie is in pre-production and called Captain America: The Winter Soldier or simply Captain America 2.
As expected, the old cast is coming back with Chris Evans playing Captain America again. Supporting Chris will be Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson.
The plot goes as follows:
As Steve Rogers continues his affiliation with S.H.I.E.L.D and struggles to embrace his role in the modern world, he’s reunited with James ‘Bucky’ Barnes(played by Sabastian Stan), who is now brainwashed Russian assassin known as the ‘Winter Soldier’.
In the sequel Captain America (Evans) will return to his heroic role fighting evil. This time he will have new villains to battle and of course the main villain “The Winter Soldier” who is bent on destroying everything he touches.
Marvel comics has been a hot franchise lately with quite a few of their comic books coming to the big screen and Captain America 2 will continue the story that has been at the forefront of the franchise.

people are still being cast to play supporting roles and casting for extras will begin when the movie starts production. Extras casting will be handled by Central Casting and those wishing to be extras in Captain America 2 should apply with central casting.
Marvel Studios will be producing this film and the film will be in theaters in April 2014!

Hi, I’m Emily, I’m interested in being in Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier. I’m experienced in acting, having been in 6 middle and high school plays over 6 years and would like to take it to the next step. In these plays I have had 3 lead roles and in 2, have been extras, then a costume designer in 1 of them. I’m also going to be in another play this spring, playing one of the lead roles or a queen. I have been in many student lead movies and have written 6 books, published on the internet. When I heard I could audition for Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier, I knew that this could be my big break, to get my face out there to start my movie career. I love bringing the character to life for the audience or listener. I hope to make many memories for my future career as an actress.
