Tryout to be Asia’s Next Top Model!
Asia’s Next Top Model is the Asian equivalent of America’s Next Top Model, the hit modeling reality competition that is hosted by Tyra Banks. The reality TV franchise has been branching out internationally with such shows as Estonia’s Next Top Model, Britain’s Next Top Model, Germany’s Next Top model, Korea’s Next Top Model, China’s Next Top Model and Top Model Po Russki. All of Asian now will have a new show. The show will cover all Asian countries, some of which already have Top Model shows of their own.
The model search is on – All across Asia. Do you have what it takes to be crowned the first Asia’s Next Top Model? The prize for the lucky winner of the new show is a dream come true, a modeling and management contract with a top company.
Asia’s Next Top Model will start filming later this year and will broadcast all across Asia.
Asia’s Top Model competition will be hosted by former model Nadya Hutagalung. The show is now casting aspiring models of Asian decent. To qualify to be Asia’s Next Top Model, applicants must either reside in an Asian country or at least have an address in an Asian country. Models must be female, speak and understand English and between the ages of 18 and 27.
The Asian version of Top Model will give Asian women the opportunity to compete on television for a very coveted modeling contract. Like their American counterparts, they will engage in weekly challenges that will decide who moves onto the next week and who goes home.
The show’s judges have not been announced yet, but the show has said that they will be experts in the field of high fashion.
Like the popular American show that has height requirements of 5’7″ , the Asian version is using the same height requirements – sorry petite models, but the first season of the show only wants tall girls.
