Kids, you may have a chance to get cast for a new Disney Channel show from producer Ashley Tisdale.
Ashley Tisdales production company, Blodie Girl Productions just announced a brand new game show that they are creating for the Disney Channel. Guess what? The show has been casting for the last few weeks and kids in the Southern California area may have a chance to get onto the new show… if they are lucky enough to get cast.
Ashley’s production company has been really busy lately with new Disney shows and movies. One of their latest creations Cloud 9 just recently aired to a huge audience. Another Ashley Tisdale project for ABC Family, Young & Hungry has also just been ordered to series and we can’t wait to see who they cast for that new ABC Family show.
Ashley Tisdale has come a long way from her days as Maddie Fitzpatrick on Disney Channel’s The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. She went on to star in “High School Musical” and from then on has been more and more involved in the production end of television and films. Ashley’s production company, Blondie Girl, is working on quite a few projects for the Disney Channel as well as ABC Family.
Ashley’s career started at the early age of 3 when she got a manager and by 8 she had a role in the touring production of Les Misérables. She went on to do 100’s of commercials, landed the lead role in “Annie” and even sang at the White House for the president when she was 12. Having her own production company, and a successful one at that seems like the next logical step in her very successful career in entertainment.
Deadline reported that Ashley’s movie did really well:
Disney Channel’s latest original movie Cloud 9 premiered Friday and pulled in 5 million total viewers, ranking as the night’s No. 1 cable telecast in total viewers. It drew 2.6 million in the kids 2-11 demo and 2.1 million kids 6-11, making it second-highest TV telecast season-to-date. It also was the No. 2 cable telecast among tweens (1.8 million/7.3 rating), behind the network’s Good Luck Jessie: NYC Christmas back in November. Cloud 9, which stars Dove Cameron and Luke Benwar, led into the debuts of new comedy series I Didn’t Do It which landed 3.9 million total viewers, and a sample of new game show Win, Lose Or Draw which followed with 2.8 million viewers.
