Online Disney movie auditions for kids “Alexander and the terrible horrible, no good, very bad day”
A new Disney movie is now in pre-production and casting directors are looking for a kid to take the lead role. Yes, that’s right, you can submit yourself to be the lead in a new Disney movie.
Disney’s adaptation of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day is holding a nationwide talent search to fill the role of Alexander Conners. The movie is based on a novel by Judith Viorst. “Alexander and the horrible, no good, very bad day” has been a favorite in children’s novels and is the story of a boy, Alexander who had… what else… a very, very bad day.
The movie has cast Jennifer Garner and Steve Carrel to play Alexanders parents and the lucky kid who lands the role will get to star right along side them. The film is casting a Male 10 to 12 yrs Old.
Auditions for kids are open to union and non-union members and will actually be done online through video submission so no travel is required to audition currently.

About the movie:
When 11-year-old ALEXANDER receives no sympathy from his family after suffering through a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day, he makes a wish that dooms his mother COURTNEY, his father BEN, his older brother ANTHONY, and his older sister EMILY and his baby brother Trevor to the same fate! He then must scramble to help them set things right…
About the character, Alexander Conners:
Alex is a good kid who suffers through one disaster after another in one horrific day. Through the day he has to overcome one embarrassment after another until he feels quite defeated after his family does not seem to understand. Alex wishes for his family to know his pain and somehow that wish seems to come true the next day when other family members start experiencing odd events. He now believes he has cursed them all and wants to help them with their situations. In the process the family gets closer and Alexander begins to see how much his family does care.
