A new year is right around the corner and that also means that Disney Channel auditions and tryouts may be coming up real soon.
As soon as we know about the Disney Channel tryouts that will be coming up, we will let you know and keep yo up to date on any new information regarding Disney Channel, Disney XD and other auditions for kids, tweens and teens.
You will find that performing for a Disney show can have great benefits for your career, however, it can also be quite the challenge finding the real Disney audition information as well as times, locations and what casting directors are seeking.
If you want to take a look at current and past Disney Channel Tryouts you can find them online,
The best way to get that information is by getting an agent that works closely with Disney Channel casting directors and production companies such as ‘It’s A Laugh Productions‘ and other production companies that do a great deal of work with the kids network.
Getting an agent means doing a good amount of research and legwork. You need to find the agents that work closely with the Disney Channel, that will be working closely with them in 2012 and that actually send kids out on auditions and tryouts for Disney Channel casting directors. Disney has lots of shows that they cast for including brand new shows that are in production and not yet aired.
For those that do not have agents, the Disney Networks have open calls scheduled a few times a year. The open calls are more like cattle calls where everyone arrives at a certain location at a certain time then waits in line to be seen. For these types of events kids will only get a minute or 2 with a casting director and due to the very crowded nature of these events many kids will not get seen at all. Also, these events do not happen often and when they do Disney picks a city to hold the tryouts in. Many families fly into that city specifically for the Disney Channel Auditions and Tryout event causing even more congestion and sometimes it is even hard to find hotel rooms in the area because so many people came from outside the area
