America’s Got Talent is now casting the AGT 2012 season.

AGT is a show by Simon Cowell whom most of us know from American Idol.
America’s Got Talent, the hit NBC talent competition is coming to Los Angeles to search for people to compete on the show.
AGT will be casting singers, dancers, actors, animal acts and other variety acts through February 2012.

AGT (America’s Got Talent, does not have age restrictions and anyone with any talent can try out for the show.
Before you apply for the show you are asked to Download & fill out the paperwork. Must bring it to audition.
Simon Cowell has some advise for anyone who wants to tryout for the new 2012 season 7:
- Be original.
- Don’t be boring.
- Stand out from the crowd.
- Be fearless.
The show also offers some other advise to stand out from what will be a huge crowd at the convention center:
Dress to impress – Come with the outfit you want to wear on TV.
Also, the show recommends that singers keep in mind they will only have about a minute to perform so they need to start with their strongest song. Dancers, should only use 1 or 2 songs to perform to and not a mix.

With that many people auditioning it is important to stand out and be noticed, not just noticed for your talent, but also for your originality, personality and look. Picking the right, not overdone song can help you get noticed for originality. AGT also recommends to have a cover song and an original song ready to perform.
For all acts, keep in mind that your act must work in the audition room and on stage in front of thousands. If your act will not work in a audition room, you are asked to bring in a DVD of you performing the act in a larger venue.
Auditions for AGT 2012 are always free, but you will have to cover the cost of parking and travel to the audition location.
You can Pre-register to secure an audition for the show since the tryouts for AGT will be crowded.
All people coming to the tryouts for AGT will need to have ID as well as be US citizens.
